The Ranch

Growing up i thought this was the coolest thing ever. I always wanted to show my friends at school... we called it "Grandpa Fred's Zebra Truck :)"

The ranch has been our family (my dad's dad's side...) since my dad was young. When my great grandma lyman died a few years back, the consensus was to sell it. My grandpa has been staying there until everything is finalized and he is getting ready to move everything to New Mexico. I have always loved spending time up there, being around all of the horses, and the memories that i have at the ranch are uncountable and priceless. I am very lucky to have had this experience in my life. Breaks my heart to know that it won't be around for my kids some day, and that all the family gatherings have stopped, but it will be fun to be able to visit my grandpa in new mexico!

Our horses are the best! They all have their own personalities but are incredibly loveable.

Cyd and her family came in to town for Labor Day, as usual. Jake was playing in his usual show at SPOON ME so we all went out for dinner at Lone Star Taqueria, and then headed off for some yogurt and some music.

Every few months we have a KICKOFF party for the PT department (i get to plan it lol). In august we went to raging waters and had a big BBQ and ran free around the park. It was a lot of fun!!

Every year bonnie and i go on a little bff trip. we usually go to vegas and st george. Next year we are trying to go somewhere like cali or mexico. I love her and love that we get a break from our world and spend time with eachother. And i love her husband for letting her go :)

Taylor Graduates!

Well ladies and gentlemen, some of us never thought we would see the day that Taylor Grant Lyman would graduate, but it's official, he did and we couldn't be prouder. It was a bittersweet day, i was happy because he was finally done, but that means no more football, and that in less than a year he will be gone for two... i think that will be the hardest part of it all!! But we are all greatful we don't have to sit through another graduation!!!

BIRTHDAY 2009

Like almost every other year, we had my birthday BBQ at my parents... they are nice enough to let me, and a bunch of meat heads come over and hang out for the evening. I'm lucky and greatful to have the friends that i do. They are amazing.

Since mom and i are not the biggest fish fans, my dad chooses once a year on his birthday to go to market street grill. the boys ordered oysters, and dad got his king crab legs. happy birthday old man!!!
